
This afternoon Police travelled to St. David’s cricket club to face league hosts Hamilton Parish in the Masters Division.
Both teams decided to play the event amidst gale force winds with gusts of 55 kts and rain conditions.
Police won the toss and decided to play with the wind and quickly massed a 4 – 0 lead early in the game.
Former Prospect Untied striker Cat Thompson was able to get a goal late in the first half.
Referee Box decided to quickly restart the second half with little visibility.
Hamilton Parish capitalized on the conditions and were able to recover the equalizer ending the game HPWC 4 Prospect United 4. Seven out of the eight goals scored in the match were in the southern goal posts.
