Police beat St. Georges football players at Wellington Oval in front of their friends and family.

This afternoon the Police bus arrived at Wellington Oval for a spectacular event overseen by match commissioner Stacy Babb that saw former league champions lock horns with arch rivals and former KO champions St Georges Stallions.

Stallions struck first and enjoyed the lead for the entire match until player coach Chris Thompson unleased his second half fire power and secret weapon onto the field. This time, himself.

Entering the game trailing 4-2 to Stallions, Thompson caused havoc in the attacking half of the field releasing both strikers in to firing position.  This attacking formation over took the lead that would not be caught by the home side whos fans and supporters were silenced and left stunned in their bleachers.

Police ended the contest St Georges 4 Police 5 as they celebrated their come from behind victory.
