Title holders Prospect United continued their undefeated run hosting Young Men’s Social Club at Headquarter’s Hill this afternoon on a wind swept field in Prospect.

Match Commissioner Terry Paytner was present ensuring law and order between both teams at the helm.

Prospect struck first in the opening minutes after numerous attacks on the Social Club defense. Colin Steward latched on to a pass in front on goal made no mistake from the mark blistering his shot across the line and into the back of the net causing mayhem in the 18 yard box.

Social Club equalized in the first half with a goal of their own looping a bouncing ball from the throw in over cross court to the back post of play with their own player toe poking the ball into the net after a brief pause in play.

Prospect however, like the champions they are dug deep into their arsenal and produced the game winning goal in the second half and continuing their unbeaten run into their next match against the St. Georges Stallions.
