This weekend’s festivities began at PRC this weekend with the sounds of Soca coming from the Club and the visiting Hamilton Parish Workman’s Club football players intended on enjoying in on the event.

Rather than receiving a warm welcome, bystanders witnessed the claims by unknown persons stating “if anything happens we are going to box them and kick them down.”

Dwayne Caines was not available to make any comment on the situation.

Colin Steward was forced to lead the front without the likes of trustee Woody or Barker in the line ups as the team was well prepared to do battle despite the conditions at the front lawn.

Hamilton Parish players were brave in their efforts and decided to proceed with their sanctioned event despite the reputation that the Prospect outfit had been leaving the rest of the league in carnage.

Reggie rallied his troops with confidence and was able to gain some momentum against the run of play giving the Hamilton Parish supporters some hope.

Police had other intentions as the league title is still the main focus of the group.

Ecuadorian International player did some work down the left hand side of the pitch and released the front runners on several occasions allowing Stewart the opportunity of opening the scoring within the first half.

Police rotated their reserves to the front line as they are known to do and now with the likes of Clarke and Cat on the field it seemed to be a Jamaican affair as all the Jamaican attackers scored in their efforts.

The referee called the game at Police 5 – Hamilton Parish Hot Peppers 2.
