This weeks controversy erupted at Police Recreation Club Headquarters when multitudes of PHC supporters watched from the embankment the Police force run over their entrusted players at Headquarters Hill in Devonshire.
PHC left the Warwick club this morning with confidence as they were manned with the likes of Mango Lightborne in the forward attack.
PHC were stunned as usual as trhey were unable to stop the attack of Woody and Jamaican International Stewart in the front line and Samual vigorously protetested as he was amazed how diffulcult the game became for his traveling outfit.
Mango Lightbourne was gifted a lucky bounce around the back of the prospect defensive and slotted home the ice breaker from the penalty spot against the run of play.
Stephen Dennie sent a looping ball into the opponents penalty box that Colin Steward was able to control, shake his defender and line up a shot at goal when he was brought down in a desperation attempt by the defense and was awarded a penalty kick from the spot to which the PHC contingency again protested bring a halt the run of play that the Prospect leading goal scorer converted into the corner pocket.
Sherwin Ming was not to be stopped easily as he latched on to a bouncing ball at the top of the box and volleyed a right footed effort into the pigeon which left the keeper no chance as he celebrated with his teammates.
David entered the arena having scored a goal per game since his return to the club and once again chipped in a left footed slicer over the goalkeeper to even the score at the home club.
PHC muscled through the storm and was awarded several chances but it was the police who struck again with a deftifying run down the left flank by the English hinternation Woody at the center of the attack and fired home a missle past the PHC goalkeeper at the aeasern End of the field.
Both team entered the half at 3 – 2 and were both able to rotate their line up to close out the game.
The second half began with both teams battling for possession with new running ability. PHC brought on Andre Washington in the mid field and able to muster up and attack that was able to produce an equalizer that gave the ma psychological hope that they might receive a result.
But Police 2nd half attack with player coach Thompson leading the front line allowed Dexter Hunt the ability to launch a shot from outside of the box sealing the Police victory taking their 5 wins 2 draws and 1 defeat in the Masters league.
