This afternoon Bermuda hosted visitors from Brooklyn, New York at the National Stadium which not only lived up to be an exciting event but also saw Randy Horton honoured with a well decorated career as well as Dandy Town’s Onieko Lowe awarded a professional contract to travel with the USA based outfit.

The first half saw both teams execute sublime passing structures and forced both keepers in action on the wind swept field in Prospect, Devonshire that saw both teams re-enter the dressing rooms at the half with clean sheets.

Despite New York organizing a sophisticated attack Bermuda’s Ming spotted the Yew York keeper off his line a launched a 50 yard effort that crossed the line and bounced into the roof of the net in the 57 minutes of the game.

With the pressure increasing and fatigue setting in New York were able to find an equalizer leveling the score at 1 – 1.
