Police units arrived at St Georges cricket club for the second time this season for their sanctioned event against St George’s All-Star team whom awaited their arrival having heard the news of the catastrophe of their sister team St. Georges Stallions at Christmas eve.

Stallion’s Troy Hall reportedly questioned the media why some parts of the events were being televised and others weren’t. He was quoted saying “Why the cameras got turned off during the second half of our game?”

Abdner Callagham was hesitant as he entered the game as it would be final match as he completed his transfer and can be seen in action in The Jamaican Football League.

Quinton Francis was up to the task while acquiring additional transfers from Prospect United including Kenny Bartram, Michael Simons  and Milton Vernaza as well as Sinclair Gibbons from St. Georges Stallions.

Lawrence Scott fought off the elements as he suited up to as he is now Prospects # 1 Keeper succeeding Keeper Simmons between the goal posts.

St Georges opened the scoring as Dell Tyrell was able to stay onside with his run and fired home a shot into corner pocket opening up the scoring at Wellington Oval.

Prospect was not about to be undone and striker Thompson quickly responded with a left footed effort of his own revitalizing his team’s campaign of winning the Master League.

Dell Tyler stepped to the side to receive some miracle water from teammates and later scored another to add to the lead of the game.

Newly acquired Barbadian international Shane Simmons fired home another rifle reminding St. Georges the reason why the police were in the neighborhood.

Dell Tyler was then able to complete his hat trick with a solo effort against the run of play and extend his lead at the top of the scoring tables.

Once St. George’s took the lead the local referee tried to quickly end to the game with eight minutes left to play on the match commissioner’s watch to which Dexter Hunte demanded that the game had to be continued amidst the confusion of the All Stars tactics.
