Pepper Spray
Hamilton Parish football players were confronted by the newly formed police unit at St David’s cricket club field on the weekend.
The players decided not play their sanctioned event in front of their own friends and families due to fear of being overwhelmed by the police on the scene.
Sean Dill was quoted at the venue saying” we heard police are beating guys so we are going to go home peacefully”.
Around 20 officers were called to duty at the club and rather than put up any resistance to the force, Hamilton Parish willfully handed the police all 3 points on the evening and drove off safely with their wives and children.
Pepper spray is issued to police officers in Bermuda to give them a “tactical advantage in a violent encounter”, according to a policy document.
