PHC Zebras vs Prospect United

Police Patrol during Holiday Season

PHC Zebras 1 Prospect United 2

PHC and Prospect locked horns at PHC’s home field in front of hundreds of PHC fans on Middle Road this afternoon in which the game had to be halted during the ever tense environment between these two teams after a crunching tackle near the Prospect penalty box.

Referee Holder had to separate the players and take control of the game in order to resume the play action at Stadium Lane.

Stephen Dennie took his frustrations out on the PHC goal net when he launched a 35 yarder past the PHC goalkeeper to take the lead in the 25th minute of the first half and begin the scoring.

PHC showed their class and intelligently pursued their link up play with Striker Manga in the center forward position and took a shot which Keeper Simmons palmed to his right but was unable to keep the ball from sneaking into the bottom corner of the net allowing PHC to level the score in the 55th minute of the second half in which sent the Warwick supporters into jubilation around the stadium as if they had won the game.

PHC continued pressing the game with Washington making dashing runs down the left and bringing on Eddie Dowling to introduce a fresh attack down the right flank.

Prospect brought on substitutes of their own with Player Coach Chris Thomson leading the attack supplying deathifying passes with his mid fielders allowing Hunt and Talbot the ability to run at net.

Prospect then settled the issue against the run of play firing a missle into the back of the net ending the game PHC 1 Prospect United 2 handing PHC their first loss of the season.

Stephen Dennie was quoted after the game saying” ..they didn’t put up too much resistance against us…”
